
Private Jewellery making lessons
You can take a private lesson to learn just about any jewellery skill or focus on a skill you'd like to improve. You can choose to work in silver or gold (for an additional fee).
Learn to carve wax, make earrings, focus on your soldering skills. Learn to solder jump rings, earring posts and rings. Emboss patterns into silver, such as a leaf, fabric or use on of our many patterned plates. Create a specific piece of jewellery such as a bezel set seaglass or cabochon stone ring. Learn to texture metal and create different finishes.

We're throwing open the doors of our workshop and giving you the opportunity to work on your own projects. You will have access to all our tools, equipment, silver solder and sterling silver sheet and wire is available for purchase.
We will supply all materials and consumables including sawblades, drill bits, emery paper, wax for carving, bees wax, cuttlefish bone and silver solder.
You will have the use of one of our workshop tool kits, which includes a saw-frame, hand-files, pliers, ring clamp, ring mandrel, planishing hammer, poly mallet, needle files, safety glasses, emery sticks.
You'll also have access to the following equipment: drill, rolling mill, orca torch (gas), pickle, tumbler, hammers, bangle mandrels, ultrasonic cleaner, bench shears, ring stretcher, smith little torch with melting head, flypress and our extensive library.
The Pod Jewellery Studio is located in Kyneton - a one hour drive north of Melbourne along the Calder Freeway.
