Rose (pink) Gold Australian Sixpence Coin Pendant or Bracelet Charm
If you already have a necklace or bracelet you love, then these yellow gold Australian sixpence coin pendants are a great option. Available in years 1935-1963, they can be easily slipped on to an existing necklace or bracelet chain. They're a great birthday or anniversary gift. Pre-1939 coins are also available, send an email with your requested year by clicking here.
All you need to do is measure the diameter of the jump ring on the end of your chain.
Sixpence coins minted between 1946 and 1963 contain 50% fine silver, those minted between 1910 and 1944 are sterling silver (meaning they are 92.5% silver).
The Threepence coins measure 1.6cm / 0.62in in diameter and are slightly smaller than the Australian sixpence coins, which measure 1.9cm / 0.75in and the Shilling measures 2.35cm/0.92in in diameter. There were much fewer sixpence coins minted in 1953 so these are harder to come by.
Threepence coins were not minted in the following years 1937, 1945 and 1946. There were no sixpence minted in 1947, 1949 and 1964. Australian Shilling coins were not minted in 1938, 1947, 1949 and 1951.
