Round recycled sterling silver wire is so versatile and used for making earring hooks and posts, rings, hoop earrings, pendants and brooches.

• Our 1mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 2mm round wire is soft and perfect for bending into rings.  
  The 0.8mm and 0.9mm round wire is hard, as we use it to make earring hooks and hard wire will hold its shape well when being bent by pliers.

  Caring for your Sterling Silver

  Sterling silver is an alloy or 92.5 per cent silver and 7.5% copper. Copper reacts with chemicals found in air and this causes sterling silver to tarnish.   Sterling silver can tarnish quicker when exposed to high moisture levels, sunlight and saltwater. 

  You can protect your sterling silver by keeping it in an airtight package and storing in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive like our 3M Polishing Cloths or Town Talk polishing cloths .
