925 Sterling Silver Half-Round Wire

Half-round wire is one of our most popular profiles, well suited to rings and hoop earrings since the flat inner face sits comfortably against skin while the curved outer face gives a rounded, finished look. It's 925 sterling silver, the alloy we use most in the studio, and available from 2mm wide right through to 8mm wide for wider statement bands.

For a standard ring, you'll need somewhere between 50mm and 70mm in length depending on the size, and up to 75mm if you're adding a spinner element on a meditation ring. Our Ring Band Length Calculator works this out for your exact size if you'd rather not measure by hand.

If you want a different profile, our sterling silver round wire is the more traditional choice for a simple band, and our rectangle wire strip gives you flat sides on both faces rather than one.
