or make 4 interest-free payments of $25 AUD fortnightly with More info
In this one and a half day workshop, you will learn to create a made-to-measure sterling silver ring band and bezel set a cabochon stone or a piece of sea glass. We work with sterling silver in the workshop or for an additional fee you can make your ring from gold. You learn to make the entire piece, including the ring band, which will fit your finger perfectly, so you will be able to wear your ring home after the workshop. Bezel setting is great fun.
Like all Pod Jewellery workshops, we want you to make a ring that suits your style and taste, so you'll be able to choose the type/colour of cabochon gemstone, the size and the shape (round or oval), or the piece of sea glass and whether you make your ring from silver or gold. Standard size gemstones will be included in the workshop fee. If you would like a larger or smaller sized stone, please let me know in advance of the workshop and I will do my best to arrange for you.
All tools, equipment and materials (including a cabochon gemstone/sea glass and sterling silver) are supplied.
You're also welcome to bring your own cabochon gemstone or sea glass to set in your ring, as long as it has been approved prior to the workshop.

Here's what past students had to say about this workshop:
"The bezel setting workshop was fantastic. A great range of stones to choose from, along with Bec’s terrific teaching methods and really useful notes, made for a very successful outcome. The workshop is fabulously equipped and the low student-teacher ratio meant lots of attention and tailored help from Bec, who is a highly skilled artisan. I learnt new skills and further developed existing ones. I highly recommend this workshop." Bec from Kyneton.
