Exchanges, Returns and Refunds


We want you to be totally happy with your purchase. You can return most items purchased from the Pod Jewellery online store within 30 days of receiving them.  We do not offer returns, exchanges, refunds or store credits on clearance items and metal products (including silver and copper sheet, wire, granules and findings).

  1. To request a return, exchange or refund, contact the Pod Jewellery team via email
  2. Let us know whether you would like to return, refund or exchange and why. For example, is it faulty or not what you ordered.
  3. If you are returning, refunding or exchanging an item you believe to be faulty, please let us know what the fault is and attach clear images of the fault as well as an overall image of the item.
  4. Wait for a response from a member of Pod Jewellery before posting the product back to us.
  5. If the product is found to be a manufactures fault, the cost of shipping will be refunded or added to your credit.
  6. Post your products to Bec de Podolinsky, PO Box 638, Kyneton Vic 3444. We are unable to take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post. 
  7. Please allow 10 business days for us to receive and process your return, exchange or refund or determine the fault.
  8. Items must be returned unused, in original condition and where applicable, in original packaging within 30 days of receipt for Australian and international customers.

Refunds are issued on a case-by-base basis. 

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund (unless your item is found to be faulty or not as described).

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. You will be responsible for paying shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is considered faulty or not as described.


If the item is faulty or not as described, we will provide a full refund, exchange or store credit. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser and your original postage costs will not be refunded. We are unable to take responsibility for lost or damaged goods.  

Refunds will not be given if:

  • the product is not returned in its original new and unused condition
  • the item returned to us has been damaged and the damage occurred after the item was delivered to the customer
  • the product is inspected by us and found not to be faulty or damaged
  • the piece was a gift and the recipient does not like or want the gift.
  • you have changed your mind and no longer want the item.
  • you have found and purchased the product elsewhere.



Cancellations and refunds

Places are limited to three students in all workshops and courses. A minimum of two students is required for a workshop to proceed. A $100 deposit is payable on all workshops and courses. We do not offer refunds for cancellations less than four weeks prior to the start date of the workshop.

If you're unable to attend, you can transfer your workshop booking to another person (for the same workshop dates only). If the workshop does not run and is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or you can transfer to another workshop. Gift certificates are not refundable. We do not offer fee reductions, refunds or make-up classes to students who miss classes.

There are no refunds or class transfers for students cancelling within four weeks of the start of the workshop.



Expiry and extensions

Workshop Gift Certificates are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following:

  1. If your workshop is not booked and taken within 12 months of purchase, the amount paid for the gift certificate will be preserved for a further 24 months.
  2. After six months, if the price of the workshop has increased, an additional amount will need to be paid at the time of booking.
  3. After 12 months, if the workshop is no longer available, the gift certificate or e-gift card may be used to book another jewellery making workshop. Gift Certificates and e-gift cards purchased for jewellery making workshops, cannot be used to purchase jewellery tools.
  4. General Gift Certificates and e-gift cards (that is, Gift Certificates and e-cards for an amount rather than a specific workshop) can be used to purchase jewellery workshops or jewellery tools.

Refunds and exchanges

Gift Certificates and e-gift cards are non-refundable. 

All jewellery making workshop Gift Certificates can be exchanged for another workshop during the validity of the Gift Certificate. To be eligible for an exchange, your Gift Certificate must not be redeemed. You cannot use a Gift Certificate or e-gift card to purchase another Gift Certificate or e-gift card. 

Refunds are not permitted on Gift Certificates or e-gift cards.
