Returns

We want you to be totally happy with your purchase. You can return most items bought from the Pod Jewellery online store within 30 days of receiving them.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges, refunds or store credit on clearance items or metal products (including silver and copper sheet, wire, granules and findings). This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.

All returned items must be in new, unused condition and in their original, unopened packaging. Returns that arrive in an unsellable condition will not be accepted and will be sent back to you at your cost. This does not apply to items that are faulty or not as described.

How to request a return, exchange or refund

1. Email us at bec@podjewellery.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order.
2. Tell us whether you would like a refund or an exchange, and why (for example, the item is faulty, not what you ordered, or you have changed your mind).
3. If you believe an item is faulty, describe the fault and attach clear photos of it, along with a photo of the whole item.
4. Wait for a reply from us before posting anything back.
5. Post your return to: Bec de Podolinsky, PO Box 638, Kyneton VIC 3444.

We cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post on their way back to us, so we recommend using tracked postage.

Please allow 10 business days from when we receive your return for us to inspect it and process your refund or exchange.

Faulty or not as described

If an item is faulty or not as described, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund, or store credit if you prefer. We will also cover the cost of returning the item, either by refunding your return postage or adding it to your store credit.

All faulty item claims must be received and inspected by us before a refund, exchange or store credit is issued. This applies even when photos have already been provided. Photos help us assess the problem quickly, but we can only finalise the outcome once we have inspected the item.

Shipping costs

Return shipping is the purchaser's responsibility, unless the item is faulty or not as described.

If your order included paid shipping, that cost is non-refundable, unless your return is because an item is faulty or not as described.

If your order qualified for free shipping, the shipping cost we absorbed will be deducted from your refund if your return brings your order total below the free shipping threshold, or if you are returning the entire order because you have changed your mind.

When a refund will not be given

A refund will not be given if:

• the item is not returned in new, unused condition and in its original, unopened packaging (unless it is faulty or not as described). Sealed items, such as Delft clay, can only be returned for change of mind if the safety seal on the box is intact.
• the item was damaged after it was delivered to you
• we inspect the item and find it is not faulty or damaged, where that was the reason for the return

Partial returns on kits and sets

This section applies to any kit or set sold on our website at a bundled price, regardless of product category. If you return some, but not all, of the items from a kit or set, the return is treated as a partial return of a bundled offer rather than a return of individually discounted items.

In this case:

• Any saving you received from buying the items together as a set will no longer apply to the items you keep, unless those items were also individually on sale at the time of purchase at an equal or greater discount.
• The items you keep will be charged at their full, non-sale price.
• Your refund will be the set price you paid, less the full price of the items you keep. If the full price of the items you keep is equal to or more than the set price you paid, no refund will be due.
• We will confirm the adjusted refund amount with you before processing the return.
• Kits containing metal, such as the Delft Clay Kits, can be partially returned. We do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges, refunds or store credit on metal products, which includes the sterling silver granules in these kits.

This does not apply where the returned item is faulty or not as described.

Pod Jewellery Workshops and Courses

Bookings and deposits

Places in all workshops and courses are limited to three students, and a minimum of two students is needed for a workshop to go ahead.

A deposit is required to secure your place: $400 for the Stone Setting Workshop and $500 for the Intensive Beginners Jewellery Short Course. For other workshops, the deposit amount is shown when you book.

Cancellations and transfers

If you cancel four weeks or more before the start date, you will receive a full refund of your payments, including your deposit.

If you cancel less than four weeks before the start date, we cannot offer a refund of your deposit or full payment, or a transfer to another date.

If you are unable to attend, you can transfer your booking to another person at any time before the workshop starts, for the same workshop dates only.

If we cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund or can transfer to another workshop.

We do not offer fee reductions, refunds or make-up classes for missed classes.

Gift Certificates

The terms below apply to all gift certificates, including e-gift cards.

Workshop gift certificates

Workshop gift certificates are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

• If you book and attend your workshop within 12 months of purchase, the gift certificate covers the full workshop price, even if the price has gone up.
• After 12 months, the gift certificate is worth the amount originally paid. If the workshop price has increased, you will need to pay the difference when you book.
• A workshop gift certificate can be exchanged for a different workshop at any time while it is valid, as long as it has not already been redeemed.
• Workshop gift certificates can only be used for workshops, not for jewellery tools.

General gift certificates

General gift certificates (for a dollar amount rather than a specific workshop) can be used for workshops or jewellery tools, and are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

Refunds

Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be used to buy another gift certificate.
