This starter pack contains 925 sterling silver sheet and wire and copper sheet so you can get started making earrings. 

Included in this Earring Metal Starter Pack is:

• 0.8mm Round Sterling Silver Wire X 1 metre
• 0.5mm Sterling Silver Sheet 100mm X 50mm X 1 piece
• .925 Sterling Silver Earring Hooks with Ball end X 5 pairs
• 0.55mm A4 sized Copper X 1 sheet
• .925 Round 4mm Open Jump Rings X 10
  
• .925 Sterling Silver Butterfly Backs X 5

The sterling silver sheet has been been pre-annealed, so it's nice and soft to start working with straight away. The wire is has been hardened, so it holds its shape when you make your hooks. But if you don't feel like making your own hooks, we've also included 5 pairs of hooks that are ready to go. There's five pairs of butterfly backs for making stud earrings. 

We make earrings from 0.5mm sterling silver sheet, so they don't end up too heavy and are not too expensive to make.The silver sheet has a protective plastic coating on both sides. You can leave this on when sawing or using a disc cutter, then remove it when you need to file the edges.

There's also an A4 sized sheet of 0.55mm copper. You can also make great earrings from copper. It patinas beautifully but you can also spray it with a protective coating if you'd like it to stay that beautiful rose gold colour. We don't make hooks from copper, as it will turn your skin green.
