If you need to melt a smaller quantity of metal, then these smaller crucibles are ideal. Super easy to hold and pour, these are my preferred crucibles and holder to use when casting. 

It’s perfect for recycling your scrap silver and gold. These make casting a breeze because you can get the edge of the crucible really close to the funnel where you’re pouring your metal.

Invented by master jeweller, Jay Whaley, the WHIP crucible holder makes a lot of sense when using small crucibles. Made of stainless steel, the spring action of the WHIP holder keeps good tension, so the melting dishes will not slip.

• Total length is 247mm (9-3/4 inches).

This Small WHIP set includes:

• 1 X Small WHIP crucible holder
• 1 X crucible melting dish - 44mm (1-3/4 inches) diameter
• 1 X crucible melting dish 57mm (2-1/4 inches) diameter melting dish
• Crucibles do not include metal

You will need to season new crucibles with Borax Powder  before using them for the first time.
