This charcoal block is softer than our compressed charcoal block, it reflects heat back for faster and cleaner soldering. 

It has better heat retention, providing reflective heat to solder faster and easier with better flow. Our premium blocks are wrapped in PVC eliminating the mess often associated with charcoal.
