The ring mandrel is ideal for forming metal and sizing rings. It is calibrated for accuracy, with each ring size clearly marked along the mandrel. The mandrel allows you to form and measure rings up to size Z+6, making it suitable for a wide range of jewellery work.

The steel finger gauge ring sizer set includes 58 rings sized A–Z+6 in half-size increments, allowing you to accurately measure your customers’ finger sizes. The sizing is carefully calibrated for accuracy — something that unfortunately isn’t always the case with some ring sizers on the market. A reliable ring sizer is an essential piece of equipment for any jewellery studio, helping ensure rings fit correctly before you begin making or resizing them.

The set also includes a Halder Dead Blow Mallet, designed for shaping metal without damaging the surface. The mallet head is filled with steel shot, which transfers the energy of the strike with a slight delay. This increases the impact of the blow while reducing rebound and vibration, making it easier on your hands and joints.

The mallet also features durable nylon inserts that resist chipping and provide long-lasting performance. After using many different mallets in our own workshop, we use this one because the quality is excellent and the performance is reliable.

It shapes metal smoothly without leaving marks and requires far less effort than a rawhide mallet.
