Borax Cone Flux

Borax cones are an alternative to Handy Flux and is the flux traditionally used by jewellers.

Grind this borax cone with water into an unglazed ceramic borax dish to make a flux paste. Then apply this using a small brush to sensitive areas of your piece, such as solder joins to protect these areas against heat as you solder. 

This borax cone is also available as a set with a ceramic borax dish.
