Borax Cone Flux

Borax cones are an alternative to Handy Flux and is the soldering flux traditionally used by jewellers. Simply grind the cone with a few drops of water in an  unglazed ceramic borax dish to produce a smooth paste, then brush it over your join area. The flux protect the metal from oxidation and heat damage, acting as a vital shield as you solder.
