This unglazed ceramic dish has nice high sides, so you won't end up with borax paste all over your bench.

This dish is used for grinding a borax cone with water to make a flux paste. Apply the paste using a small brush to sensitive areas of your piece, such as solder joins to protect these areas against heat as you solder.
