Coin jewellery makes a fantastic personalised birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, anniversary or Christmas gift for anyone born before 1967. These coins make great 60th birthday presents and 70th birthday presents.

Australian Sixpence coins minted between 1946 and 1963 contain 50% fine silver. Coins minted between 1910 and 1944 are sterling silver (92.5% silver). The same applies to Australian Threepence and Shillings. There were no sixpence coins minted in 1947, 1949 and 1964. British sixpence coin are available in years 1964-1967. 

Australian Threepence coins were not minted in 1937, 1945 and 1946. Australian Shilling coins were not minted in 1938, 1947, 1949 and 1951.

The Australian Threepence coin measures 1.6cm / 0.62in in diameter and the Australian sixpence coins measure 1.9cm / 0.75in and are the same size as an Australian five cent piece. The Australian Shilling measures 2.35cm/0.92in in diameter.
