I can't make the second half of the class, what are my options for finishing my ring?
We believe in making our workshops flexible, so it's not necessary to attend the second half of the workshop a few weeks later. You can join the second half of a lost wax workshop at a later date, these workshops are held several times a month. You can buy a lost wax tool kit and finish the ring at home. You can finish your ring in a private workshop.
Are the rings cast during the workshop?
No. The wax rings are sent to a casting house in Melbourne to be cast. The beauty of using a casting house is you can continue to make your own pieces of jewellery after the workshop and have them cast at the same place. So there's no need to invest in expensive casting equipment for your own studio.
