The Ultimate Lost Wax Jewellery Tool Kit is our most popular lost wax kit and the one we'd recommend if you're serious about working in wax. It covers the full process from the first cut on the wax tube through to cleaning up your piece after it comes back from the caster. That last part is important: most wax carving kits stop at the pre-casting stage. This one includes the Grobet half-round slim hand file, Glardon-Vallorbe needle file set, file handle, emery papers, and polishing papers you need to finish your cast piece properly.

The wax carving tools in this lost wax casting kit have been selected carefully. The Matt mitre box and saw gives you accurate, square cuts on wax tube without waste. The jumbo eight-blade wax ring sizer opens ring tubes cleanly and consistently. The alcohol lamp is for heating wax tools and flame polishing. A set of five double-ended wax carving tools covers the range of profile shapes you'll reach for most often. The double-ended wax file handles shaping and surface work, and the Glardon-Vallorbe needle files are the same Swiss-made files we use in the studio. A Max Wax pen is also included for adding small amounts of wax back into a piece where needed.
