Premium Jewellery Tool Kit

This is our original best-selling jewellery making kit and one of the most popular in our range. It has 43 pieces covering everything you need at the bench for cutting, shaping, filing, forming, and finishing metal. It does not include soldering tools, which means you can pair it with whichever soldering kit suits you.

Every tool in this kit is the one we use in the studio and in our classes. The Fretz HMR-20 chasing hammer is the hammer we've been using for over ten years. The Halder dead blow mallet is the one we reach for every time we need to form or size a ring. The German pliers are manufactured to our specification and hold up to daily use. The Glardon-Vallorbe needle file set is the benchmark for needle file quality. These are not compromise tools chosen to hit a price. They're the tools we'd buy ourselves.

The kit includes a German 60mm saw frame, Grobet half-round slim hand file and file handle, Fretz HMR-20 chasing hammer, Halder dead blow mallet, five German pliers (flat nose, chain nose, round nose, flat/half-round, and flush cutters), ring bending pliers, Glardon-Vallorbe needle file set, bench pin with clamp, wooden ring clamp, A-Z+6 ring mandrel, finger gauge ring sizer set, ring measuring stick, digital calipers, steel and rubber bench blocks, dividers, automatic centre punch, scriber, 925 hallmark stamp, ruler, Sharpie, scale, liver of sulphur, cut lube, emery papers from 400 to 2500 grit, 3M polishing papers from 4000 to 8000 grit, and saw blades.

One tool worth calling out specifically is the Mitre Vice Jig. It's one of the most used tools in our studio and in every ring making class: it holds wire, sheet, and tube at a precise 90° or 45° angle for filing, which makes getting straight, even ends before bending and soldering significantly easier. If you've ever struggled to get a tight ring join, this is often the reason why.
