Building-Up Lost Wax Kit (minus Finishing Tools)

This Building-up Lost Wax Tool Kit includes the main tools you need to start creating rings using the building-up lost wax method. This kit does not include the saws, metal files, emery paper and polishing paper needed to finish pieces when you receive them back from casting. 

As with all of our kits, these tools are of high-quality. Rather than a few small pieces of wax, we have included an entire block (225 grams) of Ferris green wax slices, so you can make lots of pieces and won't run out of wax in a hurry.

The mandrel is a high-quality eight-blade steel ring sizer mandrel, which creates a beautiful smooth finish on the inside of the ring and is much easier to use than the single blade ring sizers.

We do not recommend using the plastic (imitation) Matt Wax ring sizers, as these are extremely poorly made and leave marks inside the ring band that are extremely difficult to remove. Genuine Matt Wax Ring Sizers are made from wood and are of a much higher quality.
