This is by far the most high quality and comprehensive Lost Wax Jewellery Tool Kit on the market. It contains all the essential tools you need to start making your wax pieces and also includes the tools you need to clean up your pieces after they have been cast in metal. This is something other wax kits on the market don't include.

What's included

This kit includes high quality a high quality Italian file and the Matt Wax mitre box and saw. It also includes an eight blade high quality wax ring sizer. It's important that these tools are of a better quality. The less expensive versions of these files rust and are quite rough, so they don't provide a clean finish and damage wax pieces. The blades on cheaper ring sizers don't shave the wax evenly from the inside of ring tubes and leave lines.

This kit also includes wax carving tools, an alcohol lamp, a Max Wax Pen and a Swiss needle file set that can be used on wax and the finished silver or gold piece.

We have been using the Matt mitre box in the studio now for a few years and it allows you to cut neat straight lines on wax tubes and blocks of wax. Using this saw and mitre block saves wax and you'll spend far less time cleaning up your wax piece after cutting the wax.

If you need your item sooner, please let us know when you place your order, and we will do our best to meet your deadline. Choosing Express Post does not guarantee your order will be packed any quicker, but it will be shipped via Express Post.

Shipping Protection covers items that are lost, damaged or stolen during transit. It does not cover items delayed by customs.

Customs and duty fees may apply to orders outside Australia and are the responsibility of the buyer.

We accept returns and exchanges for up to 30 days on most of our items within Australia and New Zealand. Exclusions apply including — consumables, final sale products, and other select items. Learn more about our returns policy here.

Sustainability

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We believe it’s our responsibility to help reduce waste, which is why we do our best to ensure our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.

We are actively working with our manufacturers to help reduce the plastic packaging used in the products we buy. We’re trying our hardest to reduce, remove or reuse plastic. An exception is our A4 copper sheets, which are packaged in recycled zip lock bags, as we’re unable to source biodegradable zip lock bags in this size.

We try to reuse cardboard boxes, so your order might arrive in a box that has been used before. We also use new boxes made from recycled materials that we encourage you to use again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable zip lock bags.

100% Carbon neutral shipping

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. Pod Jewellery offsets the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from every shipment.

Pricing

All amounts displayed on this site are in $AUD - Australian Dollars.

All payments are processed in Australian dollars. Due to currency conversion, the amount billed to your credit card may slightly vary from the total amount shown at checkout.

GST

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.

Ordering

Once you find a piece you’d like to buy and click ‘Add to Cart’. It's that simple. You can then purchase or continue shopping If you have any problems with ordering, please contact us and we will sort it out for you.

Collecting items
If you would like to collect any item, please select the pick-up option in the delivery method when checking out. You will then need to email or call Bec to arrange a time to collect your purchase.

Payment

You can pay for your purchases via credit card, PayPal, Afterpay or direct bank deposit.

Gift wrapping

Physical gift certificates are packed in Pod Jewellery boxes and gift wrapped.
