Deluxe Soldering Third Hand on a Round Base

A third hand is the soldering tool that makes everything else easier. It holds your work at exactly the angle you need, so both your hands are free for the torch and your solder pick. Without one, you're balancing parts on the soldering block and hoping they don't shift the moment the flux starts bubbling.

This deluxe soldering third hand sits on a heavy round base, so it stays put when you nudge it with a probe or reach across it with the torch. The cross-lock tweezers clamp shut on their own and hold on without any squeezing from you. The adjustable arm lets you swing the piece up, down or sideways to meet the join.

We use a third hand constantly in the studio. It holds a jump ring against a chain, stands an ear post upright on a stud, or keeps a bail in position against the back of a pendant. We often have two going at once, one holding each part, so the join lines up and we can concentrate on the torch.
