Deluxe Studio Pro Kit with Smith Little Torch

This is the most complete jewellery making kit we offer. It brings together three of our best-selling kits into one studio setup: the Premium Jewellery Tool Starter Kit, the Essential Soldering Kit with Smith Little Torch, and the Jewellers Stone Setting Tool Kit. If you're serious about building a proper jewellery studio and want to buy everything you need once, this is the kit to do it with.

The making tools cover everything you need at the bench: the Fretz chasing hammer, Halder dead blow mallet, German 60mm saw frame, Grobet half-round slim hand file, Glardon-Vallorbe needle file set, five pairs of German pliers (flat nose, chain nose, round nose, flat/half-round, and flush cutters), ring bending pliers, A-Z+6 ring mandrel and ring sizer set, ring measuring stick, digital calipers, steel and rubber bench blocks, dividers, automatic centre punch, scriber, ruler, Sharpie, scale, liver of sulphur, cut lube, emery and polishing papers, and saw blades.

The soldering setup is built around the Smith Little Torch with five tips, two Tesuco regulators, and two flashback arrestors. The Smith Little Torch is used by professional jewellers worldwide. It gives you a precise, controllable flame and is also powerful enough for casting metal when you're ready to go there. Paired with the torch is the full soldering kit: four grades of silver solder, Handy Flux, pickle, charcoal block, honeycomb soldering board with pins, ceramic soldering pad, tripod with mesh, deluxe third-hand, copper tongs, German straight shears, brass brush, washout brush, titanium solder pick, titanium tweezers, and a full set of soldering tweezers.

The stone setting tools include bezel and prong pushers, a bezel pusher with V groove, bezel mandrel, curved and straight burnishers, a bezel roller, and a loupe.

One tool we want to call out specifically is the Mitre Vice Jig. It's one of the most used tools in our studio and in every ring making class: it holds wire, sheet, and tube at a precise 90° or 45° angle for filing, which makes getting straight, even ends before bending and soldering significantly easier. If you've ever struggled to get a tight ring join, this is often the reason why.

You will need to source LPG and oxygen cylinders separately, as these cannot be shipped. If you have any questions about gas supply or setting up the Smith Little Torch, you're welcome to call or email us and we'll walk you through it.

If you'd prefer a butane torch rather than the Smith Little Torch, the Studio Pro Kit with Butane Torch is available at a lower price.

Because this kit is specially priced, additional discounts don't apply and items cannot be changed, substituted, or removed.

Worth knowing:

  • 73 pieces covering making, soldering, stone setting, and the Mitre Vice Jig
  • LPG and oxygen cylinders not included and cannot be shipped, sourced separately
  • Suitable for silver, gold, copper, and brass
  • Tested by hundreds of students in our jewellery making workshops
