We love this 925 sterling silver ball (pearl) wire. It's one of the most used sterling silver wires in our jewellery making workshops. It’s available in 1.9mm and 2.3mm in diameter. We recommend annealing this wire before bending it, as it can break if not annealed first.

Use this wire to make stacker rings, the spinners on meditation rings or even hoop earrings.
You can also oxidise it to bring out the shape.
It's so versatile and a wire you should always have on-hand in the studio.

This sterling silver wire is available in 20cm size increments. If you order 2 increments of 200mm, you will get 400mm in one continuous length. Ring wire lengths average in size from 5-7.5cm depending on how large the ring is. Spinners for the outside of rings are always going to be on the larger side.

Caring for your Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5 per cent silver and 7.5% copper. Copper reacts with chemicals found in air and this causes sterling silver to tarnish. Sterling silver can tarnish quicker when exposed to high moisture levels, sunlight and saltwater.

You can protect your sterling silver by keeping it in an airtight package and storing in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive like our 3M Polishing Cloths or Town Talk polishing cloths.

We usually ship orders within 3–5 business days, but we’ll always do our best to pack and send them sooner. You’ll receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way. If you need your order quickly, let us know when you check out and we’ll do our best to meet your deadline.

Metal and findings cannot be returned unless you have received the item incorrectly. Returns must be made within seven days of purchase.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We believe it’s our responsibility to help reduce waste, which is why we do our best to ensure our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.

We are actively working with our manufacturers to help reduce the plastic packaging used in the products we buy. We’re trying our hardest to reduce, remove or reuse plastic. An exception is our A4 copper sheets, which are packaged in recycled zip lock bags, as we’re unable to source biodegradable zip lock bags in this size.

We try to reuse cardboard boxes, so your order might arrive in a box that has been used before. We also use new boxes made from recycled materials that we encourage you to use again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable zip lock bags.

100% Carbon neutral shipping

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. Pod Jewellery offsets the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from every shipment.

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

Collecting items
