Fine Silver 999 Plain Bezel Strip

This 0.4mm thick fine silver (999) bezel wire (also known as bezel strip) is custom made for Pod Jewellery. It's thin enough to be easier to bend over stones but still substantial enough to hold everything in place.

This bezel wire comes in four convenient heights 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm and is available in 50cm lengths. Our pack of four gives you all heights.

We keep all four sizes in the workshop, so we have bezel wire on-hand to fit most stone sizes.
If you are working with larger stones, you may need the 5mm high bezel.
We use fine silver bezel wire because it’s much easier to bend over the stone than sterling silver.
We recommend annealing your bezel wire before use, so it bends more easily around your stone.

Please Note: One of our manufacturers has recently had issues when manufacturing the 3mm high bezel wire and are now unable to produce wire at this height with a straight edge. Quality is so important to us, so we have sourced our 3mm wire from another Australian manufacturer based in Queensland. This wire has a straight edge and is also also nice and soft, so it's lovely to bend over stones.

Caring for your Silver

999 Fine Silver won't tarnish like sterling silver, as it doesn't contain copper. Copper reacts with chemicals found in air and this causes sterling silver to tarnish.

You can keep your fine silver looking good by polishing with a mild abrasive like our 3M Polishing Cloths or a polishing cloth.

Shipping and Returns

We aim to ship your order within three to five business days. But we always try to pack your order as quickly as possible. You will receive an email to let you know when your item has been posted.

If you need your item sooner, please let us know when you place your order, and we will do our best to meet your deadline. Choosing Express Post does not guarantee your order will be packed any quicker, but it will be shipped via Express Post.

Shipping Protection covers items that are lost, damaged or stolen during transit. It does not cover items delayed by customs.

Customs and duty fees may apply to orders outside Australia and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Metal and findings cannot be returned unless you have received the item incorrectly. Returns must be made within seven days of purchase.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We believe it’s our responsibility to help reduce waste, which is why we do our best to ensure our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.

We are actively working with our manufacturers to help reduce the plastic packaging used in the products we buy. We’re trying our hardest to reduce, remove or reuse plastic. An exception is our A4 copper sheets, which are packaged in recycled zip lock bags, as we’re unable to source biodegradable zip lock bags in this size.

We try to reuse cardboard boxes, so your order might arrive in a box that has been used before. We also use new boxes made from recycled materials that we encourage you to use again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable or compostable. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable zip lock bags.

100% Carbon neutral shipping

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. Pod Jewellery offsets the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from every shipment.

All amounts displayed on this site are in $AUD - Australian Dollars.

All payments are processed in Australian dollars. Due to currency conversion, the amount billed to your credit card may slightly vary from the total amount shown at checkout.

GST

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.

Collecting items
If you would like to collect any item, please select the pick-up option in the delivery method when checking out. You will then need to email or call Bec to arrange a time to collect your purchase.

You can pay for your purchases via credit card, PayPal, Afterpay or direct bank deposit.

Gift wrapping

Physical gift certificates are packed in Pod Jewellery boxes and gift wrapped.
