German Plier Set of 5

A good set of jewellery pliers covers most of what you'll do at the bench, and this one gives you five in a single case instead of buying them one at a time. It's made for us in Germany, with red handles, and includes half-round/flat bending pliers, round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush cutters.

Round-nose pliers are what you'd reach for on loops and curves. Chain-nose is for gripping and closing jump rings. Flat-nose holds flat stock or folds metal cleanly. Half-round/flat bends ring bands without marking the metal. Flush cutters give you a clean, close cut on wire. Between them, that's most of the shaping and gripping work covered without swapping tools every five minutes.
