Titanium Solder Pick

If you're soldering silver or gold and you've been using stainless steel tweezers to move your solder, a titanium solder pick will change how you work. The key difference is simple: solder won't stick to titanium the way it does to steel. That means you can pick up a pallion of solder, position it exactly where you need it, and pull the pick away cleanly once the heat does its job.

The handle is aluminium, which stays cool while you work. The non-roll shape keeps it on the bench rather than rolling off onto the floor, which is a small thing until it happens repeatedly. The fine titanium tip is rigid enough to handle solder with precision without being clumsy.

This pick works with silver, gold, copper, and brass. It is not suitable for platinum. It's one of those soldering tools we reach for constantly in the studio, and it's worth having two on the bench so you're not reaching past your torch for the one you put down.
