A ring mandrel is one of those tools you'll reach for constantly once you start making rings, and having a good one makes a genuine difference.

This is a solid steel mandrel with sizing from A through to Z+6, which means it covers the full range you're likely to ever need, whether you're making a delicate stacking ring or something substantial for a larger finger.vThe size markings are clearly engraved along the length so you always know exactly where you're working.

You'll use this mandrel for forming rings around the taper, checking the size of a ring as you work, rounding out a ring that's gone a little oval, and stretching a ring up a size by hammering gently over the steel.
