The Truweigh is a pocket scale that behaves like a bench scale. It's small enough to slip into a pocket, but On Balance has made a few design changes that make it quicker and easier to use than most small digital scales.
The raised platform is the one you'll notice first. Because it sits up above the body of the scale, a piece that hangs over the edge, like a long chain or a wide cuff, won't rest on the casing and throw your reading off. The four large embossed buttons are easy to find by feel, even with polish on your fingers, and updated software settles on a reading faster than the older model.
The tinted lid protects the platform in your drawer and detaches to use as a weighing tray for jump rings, solder chips or casting grain. The white backlit display stays clear in a dim corner of the studio or under a market marquee.
