Caring for your Silver

Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5 per cent silver and 7.5% copper. Copper reacts with chemicals found in air and this causes sterling silver to tarnish. Sterling silver can tarnish quicker when exposed to high moisture levels, sunlight and saltwater.

You can protect your sterling silver by keeping it in an airtight package and storing in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive like our 3M Polishing Cloths or Town Talk polishing cloths.

Shipping and Returns

We usually ship orders within 3–5 business days, but we’ll always do our best to pack and send them sooner. You’ll receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way. If you need your order quickly, let us know when you check out and we’ll do our best to meet your deadline.

Shipping Protection covers loss, damage, or theft during transit (but not delays caused by customs). International customers may be charged customs or duty fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility. Delivery times may be affected by Australia Post delays, customs, or other factors outside our control.

We happily accept returns and exchanges within 30 days for most items in Australia and New Zealand. Exclusions apply, including consumables, final sale products, and other select items. Learn more about our returns policy here.

Metal and findings cannot be returned unless you have received the item incorrectly. Returns must be made within seven days of purchase.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We believe it’s our responsibility to reduce waste wherever we can.

We carefully choose packaging that’s recyclable or biodegradable, and we’re continually working with our manufacturers to reduce unnecessary plastic in the products we stock. Wherever possible, we remove plastic, reuse it, or avoid it altogether.

You might notice your order arrives in a box that’s had a previous life, and that’s intentional. We reuse cardboard cartons to minimise waste, and when we use new boxes, they’re made from recycled materials and designed to be reused again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. We also use biodegradable zip-lock bags wherever possible.

All payments are processed in Australian dollars. Due to currency conversion, the amount billed to your credit card may slightly vary from the total amount shown at checkout.

GST

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.

Collecting items
If you would like to collect any item, please select the pick-up option in the delivery method when checking out. You will then need to email or call Bec to arrange a time to collect your purchase.

You can pay for your purchases via credit card, PayPal, Afterpay or direct bank deposit.

Gift wrapping

Physical gift certificates are packed in Pod Jewellery boxes and gift wrapped.
