The Pod Aluminium Jewellery Ring Bending Pliers are a specialised tool designed for bending, shaping, and adjusting jewellery rings with precision. Ideal for jewellers, jewellery repair professionals, and makers, these pliers allow you to form smooth curves and reshape ring bands while minimising the risk of damaging delicate metals. They’re also far easier to use than traditional half-round/flat pliers when forming ring bands.
Made from high-quality aluminium, these pliers provide excellent control when applying pressure to shape rings and soft jewellery metals such as gold, silver, and copper. They are designed to bend wire and sheet up to 6mm wide, although in our own studio we regularly bend silver up to 15mm wide with them. The smooth blue-coated finish offers comfortable handling and helps maintain good grip during detailed bench work.
The tool includes interchangeable plastic and metal forming rings, allowing you to select the most suitable surface for the material you are working with. The plastic rings help reduce marking on softer metals, while the metal rings provide firmer shaping when greater pressure is required.
