Pod Jewellery Aluminium Ring Bending Pliers

If you've been forming ring bands with half-round/flat pliers, you'll know the problem: they leave marks. These ring bending pliers solve that by giving you a broad, curved jaw that wraps around the metal and distributes the pressure evenly rather than concentrating it at an edge. The result is smooth, even curves without the flat spots and indentations you get from standard jewellery pliers.

The jaws are aluminium, which is softer than steel and less likely to mark your metal. The stated capacity is wire and sheet up to 6mm wide, but in the studio we regularly bend silver up to 15mm wide with no issues. The lightweight aluminium frame is comfortable to hold for longer forming sessions.

One tip we always follow in the studio: wrap your metal in three to four layers of masking tape before using these pliers, especially with round, half-round, or oval wire. It provides an extra layer of protection and helps prevent any marking even with prolonged use.
