Wooden Jewellers Ring Clamp

A ring clamp is one of those tools you reach for constantly once you have one on your bench. It holds your ring securely while you file, set stones, polish, or do any other detailed work. Without it you're either holding the ring in your fingers (which gives you less control and risks scratching the metal) or trying to manage with a cloth. Neither works as well.

This is a double-ended wooden ring clamp, which means you get two working positions in one tool. One end has a rounded jaw shaped to hold ring bands, the other has a square jaw for flat-sided pieces. You slide the wedge into whichever end you need and it locks the piece firmly in place. The leather lining on the jaws protects polished surfaces from marks while still gripping securely.

We use this ring clamp in our studio and it stays useful as your work gets more complex. Stone setting in particular is much easier when your ring is held steady and not moving around.

It's a compact tool that sits comfortably in your hand and on your bench without taking up much space.
