The main difference between our two Essential Soldering Kits is the flux. This kit contains a borax cone and ceramic dish.

This best-selling kit is the most comprehensive soldering kit on the market. Buying these tools as a kit saves you money, and takes the stress out of trying to work out the soldering tools you need.

The Pod Jewellery Essential Soldering Kit includes the tools and materials you need to start soldering, with the exception of a soldering torch and slow cooker for your pickle. This means you have the flexibility to choose a torch that suits your budget and needs.

Once you’ve purchased this soldering kit, feel free to get in touch via email or call Bec to discuss some torch options and which one might suit you best. There are some great torches available ranging from $50 to $500.

The Essential Soldering Kit bought with Premium Jewellery Tool Starter Kit or the High Quality Economy Jewellery Tool Starter Kit will provide you with the most important tools you need for your home studio. The Jewellers Stone Setting Tool Kit gives you those additional tools you need to start setting.

What's included

We've included approximately 1 gram of easy, 1 gram of medium and 1 gram of hard sterling silver solder, so you can start soldering as soon as you hook up your torch. This kit also includes a soldering board, honeycomb board with pins and a charcoal block.

Unlike other soldering kits, this kit includes only the tools you need and these are tools we use every day in the studio.

If you need your item sooner, please let us know when you place your order, and we will do our best to meet your deadline. Choosing Express Post does not guarantee your order will be packed any quicker, but it will be shipped via Express Post.

Shipping Protection covers items that are lost, damaged or stolen during transit. It does not cover items delayed by customs.

Customs and duty fees may apply to orders outside Australia and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Sustainability

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We believe it’s our responsibility to help reduce waste, which is why we do our best to ensure our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable.

We are actively working with our manufacturers to help reduce the plastic packaging used in the products we buy. We’re trying our hardest to reduce, remove or reuse plastic. An exception is our A4 copper sheets, which are packaged in recycled zip lock bags, as we’re unable to source biodegradable zip lock bags in this size.

We try to reuse cardboard boxes, so your order might arrive in a box that has been used before. We also use new boxes made from recycled materials that we encourage you to use again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. Wherever possible, we use biodegradable zip lock bags.

100% Carbon neutral shipping

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, leading to climate change. Pod Jewellery offsets the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from every shipment.

Pricing

All amounts displayed on this site are in $AUD - Australian Dollars.

All payments are processed in Australian dollars. Due to currency conversion, the amount billed to your credit card may slightly vary from the total amount shown at checkout.

GST

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.

Collecting items
If you would like to collect any item, please select the pick-up option in the delivery method when checking out. You will then need to email or call Bec to arrange a time to collect your purchase.

Gift wrapping

Physical gift certificates are packed in Pod Jewellery boxes and gift wrapped.
