Large Whip Crucible Holder - Handle Only

A crucible holder does one job: keep your crucible steady and positioned exactly where you need it while you pour molten metal. This WHIP-style holder does that job with a lot less bulk than traditional crucible tongs.

Made from stainless steel, the spring action holds the crucible with steady tension so it doesn't slip mid-pour, and because the crucible sits close to the end of the arm, you can get right up next to your mould rather than pouring from a distance. It's also noticeably lighter in the hand than a longer-handled holder.

Invented by master jeweller Jay Whaley, this large WHIP holder fits our Large crucible (77mm diameter) and our Extra Large crucible (96mm diameter).
