What’s Included

This kit also includes:

a metal file and handle, which you will need to clean up your piece once it has been cast in metal.
a pack of 12 x 2/0 jewellers saw blades means you can use your jewellers saw to cut wax and then to cut off the metal sprue that might be attached when you get your pieces back from the caster.
a high-quality a high quality Italian file, a German-made jewellers saw frame and a jumbo wax ring sizer with eight blades.

It's important that these tools are of a better quality. The less expensive versions of these files and saws are made in China and Pakistan.These files rust and are quite rough, so they don't provide a clean finish.

The less expensive saw frames don't hold the blades in place, which makes sawing difficult and the blade on the cheaper ring sizers don't shave the wax evenly from the inside of ring tubes.

Other wax kits don't include the tools you need to clean your piece after It has been cast.

We believe it’s our responsibility to reduce waste wherever we can.

We carefully choose packaging that’s recyclable or biodegradable, and we’re continually working with our manufacturers to reduce unnecessary plastic in the products we stock. Wherever possible, we remove plastic, reuse it, or avoid it altogether.

You might notice your order arrives in a box that’s had a previous life, and that’s intentional. We reuse cardboard cartons to minimise waste, and when we use new boxes, they’re made from recycled materials and designed to be reused again.

Our packing tape, padded mailing satchels, packing peanuts and bubble wrap are biodegradable and compostable. We also use biodegradable zip-lock bags wherever possible.

All amounts displayed on this site are in $AUD - Australian Dollars.

All payments are processed in Australian dollars. Due to currency conversion, the amount billed to your credit card may slightly vary from the total amount shown at checkout.

GST

All prices listed on podjewellery.com.au are inclusive of 10% GST and all purchases delivered within Australia will incur the standard GST rates.

All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however, they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered.

Ordering

Once you find a piece you’d like to buy and click ‘Add to Cart’. It's that simple. You can then purchase or continue shopping If you have any problems with ordering, please contact us and we will sort it out for you.

Collecting items
If you would like to collect any item, please select the pick-up option in the delivery method when checking out. You will then need to email or call Bec to arrange a time to collect your purchase.

Payment

You can pay for your purchases via credit card, PayPal, Afterpay or direct bank deposit.

Gift wrapping

Physical gift certificates are packed in Pod Jewellery boxes and gift wrapped.
